James is based in Yorkshire and his musical life started at 7 years of age when he began piano lessons. It was 1988 when he made his first stage appearance in 'The Merry Widow'.

He was bitten by the show business bug and went on to take lead roles in 'South Pacific', 'Pirates Of Penzance', 'Jesus Christ Superstar' &' West Side Story'.

His life long dream of appearing in the West End became reality when he landed the part of Jean Val Jean in 'Les Miserables' at the prestigious Palace Theatre, London.

His extensive training and love of music means James doesn’t just sing songs, he performs them, using each one to tell a story or simply create just the right atmosphere for any occassion.
